    what size tires will i be able to fit without trimming with stock suspension, or a 3/4 or 1.5'' lift?
    i'm looking at these, but i don't need to replace the tires yet.

    also, i just found out i start college in 2 weeks, summer went by so fast.

    Its your choice really. 4:88 is power but might have to back off the speed if you run 80 everywhere. 4:56s will do fine but those few hundred rpm might cause a down shift offroad, pulling a trailer or climbing a hill at 70-75. I want 4:88s and I have 33's. But my shit is skecthy to drive over 75 on the pavement, so give me power. I'll probably just tune mine to make up for it.

    If you need gears now, 4:56s is probably your bet, 4:88s with 285's could be rough for a DD.

    Yea, I'll go with 4.56. I won't be moving up to 35's for quite a while...and in all Honesty, my rig is truly a mall crawler/weekend warrior lol. I try to go out whenever I can, but I don't like going out by myself, and nobody ever wants to go on a run with me lol. Last time I went by myself I got a flat and almost got stranded(have since bought everything needed to actually be prepared LOL). But I drive about 75 usually, but on my trips up to Norcal, I'm usually doing 80+, so I'd like to keep the RPM's down when that happens lol.

    Thanks for the tips! Good to know! Plus, I DO plan on Supercharging someday, so the extra power should make up for it.

    If your going to re-gear, do it once and do it right the first time. I'll be running 4.88's and 33's for a bit till I decide to drop some cheddar on new meats. It wont be to bad, im not a speed demon by any means, cruisen 65-70 on the freeway is perfectly fine to me.
