That would be ok, crossing back thru Evan Hewes is super low tho. Pick a good line on the way out. That turns to a mud bog, you know that tho.

Ive only been in a bad storm out in the desert once...never again. I was out camped in the mudhills of oco. Yeah that was a fun time getting outta there. Another time we went out to superstition after a big storm and the flats to the south of wheeler road looked like a fucking lake!

Gotta admit though the desert is just that much better after a light spritz, no dust , good traction, and a wee bit cooler. But after a big rain no thank you. To this day I still try to avoid the lingering puddles like the fuckin plague.

I remember standing on the rail road tracks in Plaster watching the big wash flow like a river. That was the coolest thing I have seen as it paved new whoops.

The mud hills is about the only other place I'd avoid besides sandstone /split mnt. area & Clark "not-so-dry-lake"...

It can be enjoyed safely if ya use a little common sense , look for elevated plateaus with run off on all sides, ideally look for access to the elevated spots where the access is the same level as the elevated area, Theres always a chance of being "stranded" if your access is washed out, but don't panic, you may have to trail build a little, most likely you'll just have to wait it out...

I still forever want a 01-04 v6 5sp 4x4 supercharged lt tacoma. I would so rebuild everything from scratch. Make the ultimate rig, sigh dreams will come true.

Maybe I can find a first gen frame and swap the 2nd gen v6 4x4 drivetrain over.....

Yeah the price is what drove me to a 2nd gen, but knowing what I know now, if i had it to do over again I would probably go for a dbl cab 1st gen.

It's summer time, all the cool high school kids are out showing off how many beers they can drink and showing how bad ass their driving skills are then crashing into things... The good ol' days.

That happened by my house the other night. I heard tires screeching for like 3 minutes straight. Sounded like hard braking, not burning out. Go out to the building behind my house and this kid sees me and runs away from his car. Check out the car the front end was smashed and both front wheels are aimed in different directions.

Someone pick me up so we can go to a strip club, I'll pay cover charge.

I'd drive, but I don't really feel like knocking on doors with my bumper.
