But to answer your question yeah theres a few trails for beginning wheelers , are you an open diff. 2 wd ? Or locker ? Limited slip (LSD)?

Answers to these also play huge as for recommending a trail you can have fun on with just enough challenge to keep it interesting but nothing you'd get into trouble on unless intentional, in which case you wouldn't belong on any trail anyway.. Bear Valley/Pine Valley is generally prerunner friendly but would be better with a locking diff. I won't say you can't do it in dry weather in an open diff'd 2wd, because you can , but it'd have to be someone experienced offroading because theres a few spots that require quite a bit of pedal & good line choice or you could find yourself sideways with no place to go, now if its been graded (which they do from time to time) then you'd most likely be alright. The other trails are off Pine Creek rd on the west side of Pine Valley, theres a couple Dept. of Forestry trails numbered 14S02 (right now its pretty much 2wd all the way thru)
