What youre gonna blow running a 2.5 spacer on preloaded 5100s are the factory ball joints. The shock will be fine because you won't use the full travel of the shock. either way its bad news.

Just for the record....I will NOT be running the 2.5" lift spacer on top of the 5100's. I may however run a 1/4 top plate spacer on the driver side to compensate for the lean which I do not have right now cause my passenger side leaf spring is about flat which seems to be helping me out with the lean issue!:D I will be selling my 2.5" lift spacers if anyone wants to run em on top of their billies though.....;)

hey let me ask you. We installed the 5100's and still have a little dip. I am investigating the ome 885's or 886. The reason i mentioned the 886 because people say about extra weight. do yo think that the 885x will be fine on a 4x4 or should i get the 886 to achieve the 2.75- 3 inch lift

Stick on hood scoop from Autozone.
I'd definitely be down for reverse light LEDs.

What I would go with is the 885x reason being they will not settle as much as a regular coil. the 886 is more for guys with bumpers winches and other heavy shit up front, which if you're planning on doin all that then cool. If not 885x should give you a good ride and retain a 2.5"-3" lift that wont sag out
