Yes, there are literally 100's of finger trails off of it too, a number of mining old mining areas.

 

The va is my desert money. My paycheck will be coming until January or the gov'ment funds us.

I've been up to Painted Canyon in that area. Definitely tons of other trails to explore, but the sand was soft enough for my 2WD to make me steer clear of any other trails. Didn't have enough water to do the ladder hike either, but goddamn it's a deep canyon!!

Yup, theres a ton of off shoots !! Theres at least 4 or 5 interesting looking trails between the narrows & the first turn off to Borrego Springs that I've been wanting to check out, that route you've got has 10 times more !!

It only sprinkled here, i was hoping to get some decent rain so i could go play on the quad.

Just looked it up, 70% chance tonight, and nearby locations are reporting rain.

 

Hope it rains some more. Still tilling my yard and I need the hard spot to be softer.

 

Quit rubbing it. It'll get softer.

 

If you rub it long enough it gets soft and stays that way longer

 

Winte tasting is kinda like beer tasting, couple tastings and your drunk haha

 

Go throw some gypsum on the hardspots and let the water soak it in, sun comes out, re-til its what we do for our veggie garden.
