Thats a hell of a deal!

Today I am continuing on my AF500 build!!!

For those of you who do not know what that is, heres a little info.

The CR500 was discontinued in 2001 it has a 500CC 2 stroke engine that still makes more power than even the newest 450cc 4 strokes. Problem is it uses an old Steel framed chassis and sub-par suspension.

I got a modern era 2004 CRF250r and I am cutting it up to install a CR500 motor in it. Gonna be badass!

More power than a 450, handles better than a 500 and weighs less then either one! Cant wait to start ripping 90mph wheelies across the dez!

BTW, on a more serious note did you guys hear a 17yr old kid died at OW on Sunday hitting his liver on the handlebars afer loosing it in the whoops and dying at the hospital a few hours later....bummer deal, such a young kid. I saw the chopper but didnt know what happened, now I do, Rip in Peace!!

That sucks to hear Jason. Its a freak accident like Kurt Caselli dying at last year's Baja 1000. RIP.

On a lighter note, those Hella Supertone horns you wired up for me are stupid loud. Thanks again for showing me some wiring basics.

    Super Stock... For now
Went to three sister falls yesterday for the first time with my brother, pretty nice hike. I saw an off road trail next to the Three Sisters trailhead, Iwas wondering if anybody knew where the offroad trail leads to?

Cruised the auto show and saw this beast... In the Eco section! Electric motor I think it said 400hp 120 mph top speed. Had what looked like Bilstein 3.0 bypasses in back. Seems like being electric would take the rush out of it...
