    lol no it's not on yet. I just measured it out and need to cut it now. Installing it looks to be simple.

    Thanks, man. I had no idea what to expect in the box. I've never ordered or installed one of these so I just expected a buncha tubes and clamps. I wasn't sure what to go with so I decided to go with the one I don't hear too much about- made sure it had good reviews though.

    Damn I can't wait. Anyone else on TW got one? Just need the proper tool to cut this pipe with. Any tips on removing the stock exhaust? I'm pretty sure I'll need to cut it because all the bends might make it hard to extract.

    We use a Sawzall or a chop saw. You wanna cut it right behind the factory muffler, like where the new one is cut. That thing is gonna sound sweet!! Will you have it on when you come by today?

    Sadly it won't be on when I roll by. Need to find the time in the shade to cut it and install it. With the warmth coming in this week, it's gonna heat up in El Cajon- probably 100 degrees. I hate working on my bright white pavement of a driveway when it's that hot. If I get it chopped soon, I'll probably install it in the evening hours to avoid the sun's harsh rays.

    You don't need to cut it to remove the stock exhaust. Hell you don't even need to lift it. I installed my TRD exhaust by myself at a mod day at Alberts house awhile ago. Only tip I can give you is to have grease on hand, the rubber exhaust hangers are pretty hard to pull off and grease will save you from pounding your elbows against things under the truck.

    And if you need a Skill saw I have one you can borrow....

    I'd just have some grease or white lithium grease on hand. Its where the metal J hooks through the rubber hangers. Its imposible when the rubber is dry to pull them out and them push it back through. You will need the lube :eek:
