I'd take it to the shop in MS, but i'd prefer to have it serviced before i take the 2,000 mile trip (apparently we aren't stopping except for fuel)

 

Hey Jake, I've got a long time friend who has a legit shop in La Mesa, & he's worked on a few members trucks, he's about the only guy I'd let work on mine, good ,honest, Christian shop so if you go there don't act like me haha, honestly I've known this guy for almost 50 years, his name is David Bennet/owner & here's a link....

I made it from OKC to la Mesa straight shot, stopped for gas only. Was pulling a car behind a 26' I haul. Never would have made if it wasn't a rental. That my best.

X2. Drove to Iowa a couple years ago and stayed the night at the girlfriends aunts house in Colorado on the way. No way in hell Id drive straight there

That's impressive, it's a 25 hour (with no stops, according to google maps) drive, just a hour less to MS.

We're gonna have multiple drivers, at least 2 per vehicle.

 

Just remember the only one who's qweer is the one in front......

Were you towing? That takes longer. Even if you run the same highway speed, you can't pass slower traffic as easy, gas stops take longer, longer to get up to speed, towing that far just sucks.

Most of the times yeah.
Last few trips we've been taking stuff from our barn back.

I'm just glad we don't have to tow a portable saw mill back there, we towed one from east texas to here for a friend and we were getting 8MPG in west texas with no headwind, and we didn't have a spare for the trailer.

 

Been out here since 2009 and have went here to Tulsa, OK and back straight thru each way everytime. Most of the time single driver...
