    I think that "cowling" is the last piece of plastic on my truck's body aside from the bed. I'm all for tubing up a bumper- just need to work up the balls to begin making it. I was thinking of just holding the fog lights out of the windows by hand when we off road:D

    No extra noise. And it releases very close to the floor. I do notice that sometimes I can pull the peal back fully out and sometimes it comes fully out on its own. When I pull it fully out it shifts much smoother.

    If its releasing (feel truck start to pull) close to the floor , no extra noises, thats a real good sign of a properly operating clutch parts wise, good disk/throwout/press. plate etc. & if no leaks were found,

    then i'd do this & try flushing/new fluid/bleeding etc.

    & after doing all this you still have issues then I'd say your master/slave cylinders are suspect (not uncommon) building/holding pressure, pushing press. plate fingers far enough & long enough for normal smooth operation

    On another note I have seen a few set of tundra wheels and tires for sale. I currently have 31x10.5x15 and want to go one size bigger. I have seen 275x65x18 which is equivalent to 32" and a little bit wider, about 1/4". Will these fit a 1st gen (3" lift) and not rub the UCA's or anything else?

    I ran 32" BFG A/T KO's on my stock TRD 15"'s mike with very little contact unless full lock turns in ruts once in awhile, but nothing serious

    Yeah pretty much any DOT3 fluid will do even if diff. brands they all have the same properties & standards...

    Does anyone here know someone who (or even better, yourself) work on 4 stroke ATV's? I have a YFZ450 that was working fine until I cleaned the carb and tried re-jetting the thing. Now it won't idle. I've tried changing the jets back, changing the idle screw, etc. I really want to learn how to do it myself so i'd hate to take it to a shop and simply pay them to do it... but my patience is starting to run out. I need someone that is knowledgeable to do it - and hopefully I can watch & learn.

    Any help would be great. Thanks.
    I'm want to attempt to fix it myself this coming labor day weekend.


    EDIT: Forgot to say that I'll of course be paying for the service. Hopefully for less than a shop??? :notsure:
