Well the upside we can start an off-road wheel chair race...

Yo speed I have about 6-8 months before I'm ready to jump back on my bike and hit some trials. I'm going to stay away from the crazy stuff and stick to trail riding. I'm still scared to even hit a track

Bobby, which antenna do you and your wife have? Where did you get the mount that folds.

If would've kept the cb I had, I wouldn't have to buy another one.

Do you really need a license or is it just for if you get caught with it

Most of the time we run on race frequencies, which are a grey area. If everyone would get their license things would be much better. It is seriously not hard. There are 300 possible questions. If i remember right the test picks 20 of them. get 70% and get your license. There are 100 free study guides, books, flash cards and even apps available to study. They're not filled with a bunch of information you're not going to need. They only have the questions and answers to the test.

As for getting caught with it. The ham transmits more than a cb and can even be used for data (though im not 100% on how to do this). with the right radio you can talk to people on the other side of the world from the driver seat of your truck. Knowing that I wouldn't recommend just picking a station at random and hoping you don't get caught. Read a little bit, try a few practice exams, spend $5 and take the test.

Common sense, WTF is that? Nah once I was tired I know it and have been riding long enough to know when to back it down. I think I finished around 100th OA, which is horrible for me even at a national.
My bike was trying to kill me all fukin day! Suspension was so stiff I was bulldogging it everywhere, and once I got tired shit got real!

But I finished, even though I was crying inside, lol. Didnt help the last 20 miles or so were nothing but 3' sand whoops!!!! Fukers!!!

I dont ride track at all really, just desert and singletrack. The only track I race is Grand Prix races.

But would love to get together for some trailriding when you get better, nothing too nasty, I'm not always in Red Bull mode!
