Wow, Can't believe you are already in your new place! You don't mess around! Sucks about the fence but be thankful it blew down and didn't burn down! Every time these Santa Ana winds kick in it gets sketchy living out in the sticks.

I thought you were a desert rat? Sorry! I think Vista is a bit cooler than San Marcos (almost Escondido)?

Summer is coming early this year!

Ya, guess thats a good thing. We lost to cover to the RV area as well. Pulled the steaks out of the boat cover area and moved it to a new location in the back yard but its still in one piece. It was blowing stupid hard where we are at.

im stoked. lots, and i mean lots, of work to be done. found out that we're the 2nd owners. was reading through the original documentation on the property and found a bunch of funny stuff. property was bought from lemon grove/san diego water district in '39, along with 14 other lots for $$1876.00. there was a laundry list of stipulations for the parcels. no businesses, no farming, no multifamily housing residencies, no one other than a caucasian male can own, no more than 4 chickens, and no roosters.... yeah, thats right. Bank of America had a "whites only" clause on the property in '39 lol. shit, it was still on the referendum till '81 ! lol. guess it was something that slipped through the cracks. for 40 years haha

yup. he croaked, left it all to his grand kids, they just want it gone. never even hit the market. its a good thing. some dick hole would have came in with cash like they did the last 3 houses we put an offer on. bank said a cash buyer would have gone 290-325 no problem. slapped some paint on it, pulled the weeds, then re listed it for 385. thats our plan on the next house. these future houses are my retirement. gonna be a slum lord.
