    I think the San marcos fire is the one thats Priority now as it is endangering CSUSM and a HUGE housing community.

    And also the Harmony Grove fire, where I used to work as a FF. If those 2 fires stoke up they could potentially connect since there is nothing but brushland inbetween

    Aaand it supposed to be hotter than yesterday, and it was about 106 at the hottest point, winds should start picking up in the next 1.5 hours and things could get bad again.

    BTW its 90 degrees in the shade already here..

    i think it was the mayor, issues a state of emergency yesterday. whatever that means.

    Currently we are under COUNTY Emergency, State Emergence and Technically Federal Emergency due to FEMA involvement.

    Thats a huge burden lifted financially..

    Simply the air resources are EXTREMELY Expensive!

    Especially the 747 and the DC10 drops.

    Kinda sketchy for me being able to see fire in every direction from my roof!

    I'll hit 40 somewhere in AZ I think if I remember correctly and be taking 40 till Wichita the couple different ones to avoid most of the toll roads.

    8-85-101-17-40 in flagstaff. Figured you might depart the 40 in texas or west oklahoma to avoid the tolls. I would have to go to arkansas or take back roads thru kansas to avoid them. An extra 120miles, or 3 hrs thru every little town.

    just the 2 hours it takes from OKC to Tulsa is around $5 for me when I go home...

    I think it was around 15 buckseach way to get all the way to missouri. But when I pulled my trailer it was double because they charge by axle. Im trying to tell dad paying the tolls are better than driving around with a 10K trailer getting 10mpg. Ill see this trip what the cost actually is. I'm rocking the accord this trip.

    Like $5-7 I believe it's not much but the way I've routed it through Google maps and my gps it's only like 10 mins difference. But the way I look at if if I'm averaging only 60MPH and paying $4 a gallon averaging 20mpg I'd only be spending approximately $2 and it's only like a 10 minute difference so hey $2 is a can of dip lol.
