You can go to ORW but I'd go to National Spring first cheaper, 2 are about $6 IIRC & ORW is about $7.00-$7.50 for 2 IF they have them... Or you can do what I do sometimes, get a couple grade 5 or better (they don't have to be grd.8) 3/8" dia. fine thread bolts w/nylocks to match if you wish , I get by just fine with a conventional nut, but make sure they're threaded all the way to the head, no shanks, now just knock the corners off the head of bolt & drop it into place, fits perfect in the axle perch & is 100% safe to do, plus it'll cost about $4.00 or less for a set... I might have a couple, if you just want OEM's for 'yota come by & get some I've got quite a few..

They changed it & pretty sure who did the changing too, probably those fucking nazi rangers they have out there now, theres a gal thats a real bitch out there & its not hearsay, I've heard from a couple unrelated yet reliable sources that she's the queen bitch of tree huggers ,is ticket happy & wants to jail most all the offroaders

Well its cshumper2003.. It's hot out there & the legendary 300ft bonzai slide has been neutered to a butt sniffing 40 feet, relocated.....somewhere, I forgot but I still think its the rangers that made the call to shut it down /relocate, we dont want to disturb the sand now do we....

 

That definetely sucks. It was probably easier getting tankers to the 40 ft as apposed to the 300 ft one. lol . I'm being a hermit inside it's to damn hot to be outside in lakeside the hell with the temps in the dez right now.

Jason, check it out, I passed all visual/passed emissions, but here is where it starts as you may know I had a small brown wire in the igniter harness that was loose, stripped it shoved it back in & all good truck started up like nothing ever happened, that was a little over a month ago, I cleared all codes about a month ago & have been driving it almost daily since then so system would reset, last week me & greg took a power run up the hill to heat things up nice & toasty now bear in mind all CELS gone no codes thrown, I pull into this hack shop with NO CEL NO CODES BEING THROWN, he even scanned before test, so after passing visual/passing emissions, he turns truck off still connected to the states computer, starts it back up a min or 2 later & BOOM got a CEL & 5 codes thrown, I stopped him right after CEL came on to make him aware of it & he tries to tell me that the CEL was already on.. Well that BS for 2 reasons, the first is there was no CEL, trust me I KNOW TOO WELL the CEL light, & BS reason 2 is if he knew there was a CEL, why the fuck did he go forward with test ?? KNOWING its going to fail ?? & it wasn't a pass or dont pay, (my fault there) So I get the "I'm sorry" no explanation why CEL is now on/codes thrown & it cost me $31.75 for HIS mistake as far as I'm concerned.... fuck, what do you make of it & FWIW there were a couple reviews on his shop with pretty much the same complaint

That sucks Doug. I'd use a different smog guy in the future. I hate smog and smog guys hate my truck. They check every hose and look at every inch of my exhaust. They spend at least a half hour on my truck for some $40 smog check coupon that I found in the newspaper.
