I took the two hoses off and also upgraded the drain to a larger hose. If anything I'm just going to plug the 2 pcv hoses back in and hope I don't get too much blow by (if any).

 

If those PCV hoses are attached to a charge pipe, it will definitely pressurized the crank case, and potentially cause oil leaks. Not only that, but that pressure will fight against the pistons from the bottom, causing reduced power. X_X

I fought the routing issue forever on my 1GR, to figure out how to get it right. Got a lot of grief from induced oil leaks as well. Do you have any pictures in your build thread of the hoses' routing?

 

The truck ran fine with them hooked up because I'm running only on 5psi. I think the problem was my drain line not being large enough. I'm going to run the lines again and see if that gives me any blow by or not. Right now the intake plenum is capped and the two ports where people usually run a catch can to are vented to atmosphere.

 

My feed hose is a 4an with .065" restrict pill inline. drain line is 10an into the pan. Leave one nipple on the valve cover vent to atmosphere since you are low boost like me. We use both vta once we tune for big power or loose butthole motor that due for rebuild. I can get you a pic of my setup if you need an idea
