Thank you... I hope I can get it worked out up here, however.

Yeah I got mine done last week. They lost 2 guys in the back and were really struggling to keep up. I made an appointment a week out due to how busy they were. Turned 3 people away while I was sitting and waiting on my alignment to be done.

Got the alignment done and the toe was off, all good now (for $69.95). Well, I hope so... because he did try and get me to pay $100 for a diagnostic of my front diff and right bearing he said both sounded bad!? I told him no thanks, I have a mechanic (Jason/ Speed Freek)!

Speaking of Jason, I went to him after the alignment and got new brake pads installed... Thanks Jason!

So speaking of alignments (is there a better place for me to post the numbers?), the castor and camber were unchanged, but the toe was 0.15º left and 0.12º right. After the alignment, the left and the right are both now 0.05º. Total Toe was 0.28º and changed to 0.10º. Steer Ahead was 0.02º and changed to 0.00º. The cost, with a $20 coupon from Discount Tires San Marcos (Brandon), was $69.95 and took about 90 minutes from the appointment time.

Hey guys, checking interest on swapping my 2015 scooped hood for a non-scooped version in Pyrite Mica. Looking to stay local, which is why I'm posting here. My post in the hood swap thread is here.

Anybody know any good personal injury lawyers? Got in a minor wreck, getting tired of getting the run around from the insurance companies

Thank you again for your business David! And thank you so much for those Baja books you gave me!!
Both your wheel bearings checked out, no play or notchy feeling during rotation. And your diff being bad, I have no idea how he came upon that diagnosis, especially without a test drive! The sound you are hearing is 95% going to be your front tire wear as I saw some slight cupping on both front tires.

If I was shady I could make so much money on tire noise, lol. Just rotate the tires and tell the customer I replaced both front wheel bearings!!
Unfortunately A lot of shops will do that without blinking an eye, one reason techs can get a bad wrap, that kind of stuff really pisses me off
If it still keeps making sounds after the tire rotation/balance bring it back and Ill dig into it some more for you and I'll figure it out for you.

I'm an attorney and may be able to help. Depends on what you're after. If its pursuing an insurer, that's entirely different than suing the person you were in the accident with. Either way, feel free to PM some details. It will all be confidential if you do.

What you described is pulling out the carrier, not the re-gearing part. He'll need something like a 20-ton press and some jaws to pull and install new bearings. Re-gearing is more complicated than just removing some bolts. Here's a video of installing gears on an axle with a cast centersection (salisbury) rather than the drop-out third member type (banjo) Toyota uses but the process is similar.

Swapping a third is cake, I want to learn to install and set the gears. I know the process but have never done it
