I had called into Service to ask, they took down my name, number and VIN and said they'd call me when the parts become available. Did you talk to the sales or service manager?

    Rack bushings, tranny mount.

& Maybe even a creative solution to this problem- located right above the crash beam passenger side. I have some large metal washers above and below to keep the bolt from working its way through. Seems to have "solved" the problem for now...

Tell them you want to talk to Jose who's the service writer and he'll set up an appointment and my friend will get it back to you with the quickness.

Wow thats pretty worked! Would need to weld a new plate on top as a permanent solution hopefully that would help the metal stop spiderwebbing like its doing would most likely want to drill the ends of all the cracks and weld a bead there to stop it from progressing.

I can do all that stuff for you as well as the rack bushings, the bushings need to be drilled out since they are a molded bushing but I have done a bunch of them

Mission gorge is the most popular, I think. Pretty wide range of rope climbs and not much bouldering. Sounds like you're a rope climber since you liked votm (which is my favorite, too, but shhhh...not many people know about it!). Mt. Woodson is like votm with bouldering but more stable rock, not as chossy, and closer to the coast so it's cooler. I think I'm headed there this weekend.
There are a few other small places around, like Santee boulders, Dixon lake, and then bigger stuff in east county like descanso, so Cajon mountain, and Corte madera. Farther into the deserts you get to boulders in culp valley and dos cabezas.

Check out the san Diego climbing guide by Kennedy and Hubbard. That's my go-to.

Also climbingtoposofsandiego.com is a pretty good resource.

You own that hotel? Good to know. So next time when I want to go downtown and check out all the club sluts I'll have a place to crash!

Makes sense. They are close, though! At least mission gorge is worth visiting occasionally. Wouldn't say the same about Santee boulders. If you're looking for crack, woodson has Baby Robinson crack, which is reportedly the best finger crack in the world. I'll see if I can do it this weekend.

I don't know anything about riverside quarry but quarries scare me...they sound so sketchy to take a fall in!

Maybe...but I'm only just getting back into climbing. At one point I was climbing the 11c's out there at votm but now I'm only solid on 5.9 leads. Thinking of getting the other half of my trad rack with this rei sale but mostly I've been sport climbing lately since I don't have the gear for anything else. Should probably get a new rope, too...my current one's pretty old. Freaking expensive hobbies...
