Big thanks to @Speed Freek for installing my coilovers today! Truck rides great, it feels more planted and is much better hitting bumps.

Not getting an alignment in Cali though! Would've been $170 otd, insane!

Look up Trueline alignment shop in El Cajon, they do it old school there for only $65. Driving back to AZ could wear your tires really bad.

If you're not set up for 220 then yes, a Hobart 140 is a great machine. I used to have one and used it for years on small projects after I got my larger welder.

Definately could! The alignment seems to be really close, the lca main bolts/alignment cams weren't touched so all that changed was the ride height/control arm angle at ride height Thank you ill look into them for sure!

If you went up higher then your tires are probably riding a bit on the outside edges like this \ / if so that will cause cupping and all kinds of bad wear.

They always have online coupons...54.99 for front wheel alignment on trucks and vans. I have never had a bad experience with them. Worth it to make a appointment so you don't have to wait. Definately don't put it off as you can get really bad wear.

Hobart makes good machines, not sure on that model but I would highly suggest getting one that accepts a gas cylinder for NON-flux core wire. Welds much nicer and cleaner and penetrates deeper.

Holy hell! I had no idea they were that expensive, sorry for the bad referral! Dang...well at least you got a good deal on install, 1 out of 2 aint bad o_O

No worries! They wanted $45 for a suspension "inspection" and $130 for the alignment?! Then the guy started talking about axle shims and checking/aligning the rear. I left real quick!

Yeah no kidding, thanks for letting me know...didnt mean to lead you in the wrong direction! There are a few right down the street (Midas and a couple independent places) one of which wont touch anything but bone stock stuff pretty snobby if you ask me! And I thought that place I recommended was supposedly better for off-rod trucks but didnt know the cost was like that!
Well there are plenty waaaay cheaper so get it done soon if you can and have fun with some badass front shocks! Ill post some pics of the front when my phone charges up, it died..
Was nice meeting you two today and let me know if I can help in the future, but don't take my alignment shop recommendations, ha!

Where in the fuck was this at ?? I hate so called shops that try to deviate from what the customer wants by their so called mechanics...nothing but fucking salesmen... On behalf of San Diego I apologize for the potential douching they wanted to give you...
