In case all of my peoples haven't noticed, its really really hot!!
Got to 94 in the shade yesterday and judging by the heat already at this point I wouldnt be surprised if it was closer to 100 today.
And I live in Vista, named one of the top 10 climates in the US. Well most of the time it is, but we always get that 20-40 days per year that are less than stellar!
Stay cool my friends!!! If you can anyway... I get to put a 4Runner engine back together after it was towed from the dealer, they wanted over $4K for the repair!
I was able to locate a good cylinder head with a fresh rebuild and should be getting the complete head gasket set today so I can get it running. She seemed pretty happy knowing I will be saving her literally thousands of dollars, lol.

Goal is to have it running by the end of the day, will likely run into the evening trying to finish it, I have quite a bit to complete. Aaaand its like 200 degrees outside which doesnt make it any easier, but its OK, it is what it is! Its work so Im not complaining, Im simply stating the possible hardships included with my current situation. :militarypress::headbang: Haha!

Anyway the bottom line literally and figuratively is stay cool my friends!!!

    Yes
Jason, you should build yourself a DIY outdoor swap cooling system around that awning you have outside your garage.

Its too hot to make one, haha..Its just training/acclimatization for when I go to Havasu. It will probably be 300 degrees there when I go visit. Damn its hot already 89 degrees inside my house and I dont have A/C, sniffle.

Wonder if I should start a GOFUNDME account to get an AC unit and another one to pay the bill. Seems like everybody uses that site these days for the most random stuff I have ever seen, even one that was about somebody that wanted 24" wheels and tires for his donkmobile, another for a person to go to Burning man, and other random things, I spent way too much time looking there because the I was simply floored, its worth a look, some fully stuff there, and you cant make this stuff up!

I thought it was a joke but it was legit, then I started looking around more and was astounded at the reasons people were asking for donations, 95% were things that nobody needs and the scary part were that people were actually contributing!

Maybe starting that GOFUNDME account isnt that bad of an idea afterall....:anonymous:, until then I will continue to use a spray bottle on my face and a fan blowing at me, lol (DIY Swamp Cooler)
