I heard about the protest in the news. I stay far away from that stuff. I see one I go the opposite direction.

That sucks. Only a matter of time before it happens in my area, but Murrieta isn't that diverse of an area. I actually think something happened a month ago, but it only made some noise for a day while the media tried to blow up the situation. Hopefully things are back to normal tomorrow.

ElCajon is diverse but if you venture very far from the heart it's hard working people mixed in with redneck and borderline racist people. I cant see much happening outside of the area they are in now.

I must say this: Please listen to and think critically about the message that the protesters are trying to convey and the reasons that they are protesting instead of immediately dismissing them with corrosive language. That is the point of any protest, to bring awareness to an issue that a group of people are facing that has not been solved by any other method. When more and more people start listening to, acknowledging, and discussing these issues, then we can finally start to solve them.

I for one want a world with peace, respect, and equality. I'm open to discussion about current political/controversial events but given the TW Code of Conduct, this is probably not the venue. Feel free to pm but that's all I'm going to say about that publicly.

How about they protest at the courthouse downtown or at the courthouse in El Cajon or literally anywhere else that's not going to impede those of us that just need to get to work, get home to our children, carry on with our responsibilities that allow us to pay our bills and barely keep our heads above water. Not all of us have the luxury of being able to just stand in the middle of street in the middle of the day in the middle of the week without repercussions. #iworkforaliving #notaleech #whyamihashtagging

Whether I believe in their cause or want to help, I can't be associated with their group due to their behavior.

I probably drove right past your house earlier, haha. I've been house hunting and Bostonia seems to be my happy place. How do you east county peeps like the area... when there aren't protests...

Edit: I also spotted two built 2nd Gens while in the area, one black, one silver
