Putting that in here since it seems like this thread has been more of a classified than a bs thread lately lol

E&C spring in Escondido did mine several years ago. They cad add leafs and or re-arch your springs.

If ride height is good you need new springs or stiffer compression valving. Or if its just during multiple bumps it could be packing (too slow rebound)

Rode height seems really low for long travel it's almost lower than stock is

We do a lot of business with Ben at E&C spring. Cool guy he always takes care of us.

Gary if you end up doing business with them let me know I'm usually up there twice a month and I can pick up / drop off for you ! We do add a leafs and re arching too but mainly on work trucks and heavy equipment. Not really on off-road trucks.

You may have a short spring in it, try adding some preload, but may not be the answer, might need a longer spring. And BTW you need more uptravel, sounds like you are just sagging.

The spring is adjustable roght now it's set all the way to the top so I think of I get it adjusted more towards the middle it would be stiffer and give me more up travel that I need

Can anyone recommend a good bike shop to work on my 2006 Dr650? The fcr carb needs a tune up and I don't have time with work to monkey around with it.

Crank the spring down till you get your proper ride height (if at low spring compression setting currently). Only thing you need to worry about then is coil bind!

I am a monkey. I can do it. PM me and Ill go through it. I have 4 FCR carbs in my stable, lol.

I think it will be ok as I believe it's supposed to be standard to be down farther on its setting I'll get pics showing you what I'm talking about just need to figure out how to compress the shock back on without using a spring compressor cuz I don't wanna buy them lmfao

Can't say I've used a spring compressor more then once. Can't beat ratchet straps, it feels a little sketchy but when you have 2 of them it's not so bad lol.\

Besides, the last compressor kit I used was from Vatozone and that's meant for car struts, not 800lb springs.

Yeah I'm fairly certain those clamps are blocks from boiled lead weights meant for fishing hahaha.
