It was dead out in plaster, superstition, Anza Borrego and Ocotillo wells yesterday. Super green too with all the flowers blooming. Couldn't breathe with so much pollen in the air.

That place looks nice. I'll have to check it out. Trying to go off roading but nothing too crazy especially cause I have only ever stuck to pavement

Saw a few new 17s with dealer plates out there bone stock. I'd highly recommend getting out there in the next few weeks. Only this green every 20 years.

I may head out to anza borrego this weekend to hike and check out some trails. What is the easiest trail to stick with? truck is bone stock just got it last week so I don't plan to do anything crazy.
Also what are some off road necessities I should bring?

If you are new to off-roading, I would suggest a very important lesson that will make your experience much more trouble free!
    First off AIR DOWN!
This will more than double or even triple your traction on all surfaces, I generally suggest airing down to 15psi and avoid hitting large rocks at high speed, or no more than 18psi if you feel uncomfortable with that pressure, but you will be fine with the lower pressure and have a much smoother ride as it also eliminates all the small choppy stuff since the tires are also working as dampers.
I run 12-14psi in my Jeep with cheesy "C" rated tires and run it at over 70 mph constantly without issue over anything, but Im running 33x12.5-15" tires.
And never forget you dont own a trophy truck and have fun!!!

When you are ready for mods let me know and I can steer you in the right direction.

I'm looking for a smog shop here in San Diego that will smog my truck withthe catalyst monitor not ready.
I just need to smog so I can get my stickers.

I can drive arounf for months with no check engine light comming on. the only thing is the catalyst monitor will not reset.
other then that the truck runs fine burns clean and has nothing wrong.

Heres the thread I started on trying to fix it. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/tourque-converter-lockup-solenoid-code.478486/

    I'm running out of options.

Anyone interested in the factory spare from my 2015? Near-new condition, never used. I have a tire upgrade pending and I'm going with a 5-tire rotation so both tire and rim are available. PM me a reasonable offer if you're interested.

Also I have a Firestik CB antenna free to a good home. Bought it for my FJ40 but never installed it, and I sold the FJ years ago.
