Yeah, i feel like most variables have been addressed. Also that info about the droop for each pack is super helpful.

After seeing the comparison of the shackles, i want to keep the lift ones just based on the beef of the material. the little extra lift i don't think will be a huge issue, but it is something i do want to to take into account.

Yes, more chatting about this later. Can't wait to gtfo of here

Valid point. The materials were a big factor. I'll let you guys know if I can't make it. Started a big job this afternoon and will take awhile.

Anyone interested in a set of Air Lift Ride Control air springs? Kit 59561, purchased a couple years ago. Bags are new warranty replacements (very slow leaks in the old bags, still have those and I'll throw them in). I'll also include a dual air gauge and the mounting plate I made for the passenger side cubby.

Worked great for towing our camper for the past couple years but I just put Dakars on and am switching to a WDH.

    Pm me if interested.

Every time my company has a company event with adult beverages they have a strict limit of 2 drinks per person. We always find a way to get around that restriction... :drunk:

Leaving for Baja in the morning with family for the beach... Just rest and fun in 4WD.
Speed Freek did a visual inspection and changed my radiator coolant in keeping up with common sense maintenance on this wonderful truck!
Here's the beach we are headed for, Shell Island:

Yes, it's an island and with the super high tide, we may not get to it during the low tide window!

The access to the island, is 2 miles down that way!

    Oh, what a feeling!

This time of year it's starting to get too hot for the desert. I would suggest heading up to big bear mtn. Tons of good trials and scenery up there

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/first-big-bear-trip-advice.488185/

Also, unless you are camping out in the desert, most places you can only have a fire if you're at a camp site that has fire rings, and even that depends on the season/weather. Way too many wildfires the past couple years

The propane fire is about the only option.

Anyone want to help me out? Was changing fluid on my 4runner today- went to do the front diff and whoever did it before stripped the hell out of it. I slotted it and hit it with PB, heat and an air chisel with no luck. I need a nut welded on it.

Anyone up for it? Will pay in beer or cash!
