Was thinking of something a little closer. That does sound like a good time though.

Not mine. At least you somewhat know they drained the oil. The big question is, did they fill it back up?050A516E-EC60-4318-BE7E-B073B7164D88.jpg

    Hey, that looks familiar...

'Bout to give them a call here in the next hour when they open to politely ask "wtf?".

They zip tied the skid plate back on? Am I seeing that right?

That mount point, yes. They sheared the head off of the mount bolt and instead of removing and replacing it, they zip tied it apparently. All other bolts are installed.

Jesus, I need to take a full photo/video documentation of my under carriage before I go to get my Taco serviced by Toyota..... That is not cool. I would report them to Yelp, https://www.bbb.org/en/us/ca/san-diego, etc. to make sure that others don't get screwed over like that. That really grinds my gears.

Update on the skidplate: I took it back to Toyota of Poway today and they fixed it with no issues. I'll continue to do business with them.

Recs on who/which shop to go to for a steering rack replacement? I've already been warned by my HOA so if I work on my truck in MY garage, they'll fine me...bastards!!!

Looks like Toyota of Poway is out of the question.
