Couple shocks, some old tires, and a bad paint job
If you can take off the shock and pull the nitro out, cycle it and see if you notice any oil seep through. As mentioned I use a fine steel wool as well with some wd40 after. Little pits in the shaft aren't going to make me replace them especially if they're towards the end of the shock stroke. In my case I rebuild my shocks more often so any lost oil ends up getting replaced earlier down the line but if it doesn't leak, clean the shafts and spray them.

FYI- Just make sure there aren't any little burrs around the pitted areas, those will eat your seals.

I would have but what I really need now is a newer RV, my old ass 85 is just always trying to commit suicide!

    Haha, thanks buddy!

This>>> if its really deep start with more course sandpaper and work your way back up to 1500 while wet sanding it. I'd be surprised if your seals arent damaged from that bad of pitting, 7 months!!!? Do you drive it in the Ocean, lol...

Hey guys, Not sure if people are selling stuff on this thread (so if this needs to be removed that's ok) but I'm trying to sell my truck locally since we'd have to do paperwork at Mission Fed.
Here is the write up for my truck.

Up for sale is my 2016 Toyota Tacoma SR5 Double Cab short bed 4x2 automatic transmission with a CLEAN title.
It has 45,500 miles (as of posting). I drive a lot for work so they are mostly freeway miles. I'm the first and only owner. When I bought this truck It had the "appearance package" from the factory. I also have the CarFax to prove everything. It has the tow package as well. Vehicle has been NON smoker and no pets inside the cabin ever. I have receipts and all paperwork for everything that has been done to the truck.

I've also done some mods to the truck so it has:
Front Bilstein 5100 shocks for lift (rear is stock)
    Method NV 16" black wheels
    BFG A/T 265/75r16 tires.
    TRD Pro Grill
    Full interior LED lighting
Front windows have been professionally tinted to match the rest.
CaliRaised LED mounted ditch lights (white LED)
CaliRaised Bumper 32" LED bar (white LED)
*** This truck has been professionally detailed 2 times a year since it was purchased new. Latest detail happened on 11/17/18 for the new buyer*** I am a very OCD/meticulous guy who has really taken care of this truck.
All services have been done at Larry H. Miller Toyota in Lemon Grove which is where it was purchased. It still has a free services on the extended maintenance plan that I purchased up to 55,000 miles.
Asking $27,500. I'm reasonable and ready to negotiate.

Hey all, just moved out here and thought I'd say hello to the fellow TW peeps but this thread seems kinda dead for as many nice trucks as I see around. Where do people hang out on the internet around these parts?

I'll be in Nevada that weekend and my off-road activity will be limited until I get my shocks rebuilt, apparently I've been mean to them since April when they were last rebuilt.
Right now I'm in IB but trying to find a more permanent spot.
