First we were going to observatory and it's still locked. We ended up going up on palomar divide rd to the tower then out at high point rd. 20190714_135703.jpg 20190714_135557.jpg

Anyone want to make a few bucks? I just purchased an old (and ugly) Dodge conversion van which I plan on using for road trips where 4x4 isn't required. Unfortunately its too tall to fit in my driveway, and I need to do some work to it (brakes, wheel bearings, fluid change etc). I am looking for someone in the San Diego (If you're in / near PB even better) area who wouldn't mind me parking the van in their driveway for a day or two while I knock out the work. I'd obviously bring all tools, and keep it clean.

    Any takers?

The gate to the observatory is always locked from my experience. How was High Point trail? Anything in particular that should concern stock rigs or 2WD's? Looks like we're going to have a good sized group for this weekend going up and I'm thinking of exiting down High Point.

High Point was pretty awesome with killer views, it should be just fine for a stock prerunner going down. 2WD going up I'd recommend at least a locker or some good AT's in back.
    4WD piece of cake

Might be kind of a newb question, but I got an itch to spend some money, and decided to give this a shot. I’m good with the sound, but idk if it’s just me thinking about it too much, but I’ve felt my gas mileage being worse, so is it possible that this would be the cause? I’ve looked it up online, and the answers I’ve found actually seem to say the opposite and that it would help my mileage.

Most people start accelerating faster to hear the exhaust sound, which leads to lower gas mileage. In theory it should gain MPGs, but the change in drive style negates it. Similar scenario happens with a cold air intake. Keep the RPMs below 2k and report back.

Both of our trucks are stock. This trail is 2wd friendly. You'll do fine going on those trail. Have fun!

So, Madison still has some tickets left to sell for her showcase coming up on July 30th at the House of Blues in San Diego. Tickets are $25/ea if she buys them through her account, so let me know if you are interested. It seems like a pretty cool event, there are going to be a lot of other types or artists showcasing as well.

I never was a fan of swing shift, seems to mess up your whole day. At least you're not 3rd shift and literally become Dracula.

    Thanks!

If I can find any good ones I most definitely will. She is much more active on Social Media though and has some YouTube videos but they are phone recordings and are not of very high quality.

Soo it rained this morning here in Vista, fairly hard actually, didnt expect that.
To top it off, I had some bags of concrete I left open from the wall construction overnight facing the heavens that I didnt cover, Im assuming they have morphed into bricks, whoops!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!
