Why did you pull the head? Head gasket, or burnt valve??

Aww bummer, Ive seen that happen quite a few times with really high mileage motors, rarely does anyone do valve adjustments on them because they are a pain to do and the shims are expensive..
I've done probably 20 of those for the same reason. And if I were you I'd replace the head bolts, they are torque to yield and wont hold the same pressure after reinstalled.
Also a dab of sealant on both sides where the block meets the front cover before install, and blow out all block holes to make sure they are clean, it would suck to torque a head bolt down that had fluid in it and break the block, lol. (hydraulic pressure is bad Mmmmkay)

If you have any questions, I might know a guy...;)

Anybody local with a 3rd Gen DoubleCab looking to swap your black interior door handles for my chrome handles?

Any of you guys go to the Del Mar Summer concert series things? I'm thinking about coming down to see Angels & Airwaves play at the end of the month. Trying to figure out the whole admission thing for the grounds and concert. It looks like all entry tickets get you a GA pass for the concert as well, but you can pay $50 for a "private" section. Any advice?

Ive been to a few of those. And just be sure that its included with admission, Ive been to some that they were additional on top of the general admission. I'd save the $50 for beer! By the end of 3rd one you wont give a shit where you are sitting:drunk:

Haha! That's what I was thinking too. I just saw the $50 thing first. I Thought it was going to be part of the Del Mar Fair and not the actual racetrack. Tickets don't seem to be to expensive to get in to the track, but I'll do some more research on their website to figure it all out. Thanks Jason!

Yeah $50 is kinda pricey, if you can sit in the upper area (I think zone 3 or 4 and above are usually the free ones) I'd go that route personally.

Yeah, I don't think $50 is worth it at all, especially if just a regular race admission gets you in to the concert!

Where do the bands play? I've never been inside the racetracks. Do they play like in the middle of the tracks or what? If tickets are only $10 I don't care where I am as long as I can see ha
