Anyone have a recommendation for a landscaper to go from grass to a rock and native plant setup? A friend is looking to get rid of her lawn

 

leave the water off? ok, srlsy, post up an ad and someone will come get the grass as sod. pretty cool. friends did this buy they DIY, super easy after the grass was out. had the decomposed granite (DG) dumped in the grass area and spread it/compacted and then planted xeriscape...walk away and forget.

 

She's a fancy lady that wants it done properly, I suggested Home Depot, she was unimpressed

 

yaaa HD is great when you know what to you need. it's the worst for getting ideas. doing a whole home reno, i speak from witnessing real, traumatic experiences between what looks like ordinary happy couples. I'm there nearly every day.

after having to Google search my way through every corner of pinterest to find what we liked on a house, finally just said f it, knocked on the door and asked the owner "really like how xxx turned out, how'd you do it?" most of the time you'll get way more than you bargained for. tell your fancy lady this is way to go.
