yup. super stoked. had to have it corrected after install last week. tons of flaws/snags and needed a 2nd clear but owner made it right and damn its tits. can't wait to have the garage back. all the stuff crammed into the 1 car side and out back. also had the fires last week, all covered in ash...totally would do it again.

Turned out sweet! Trying to convince the better half we need this vs I want this. Seems like company’s are hit or miss with quality or price or both. Would love to know what you paid and company you used...

With a little bit of patience it can be done by an amateur, just depends of how expensive your time is.

Yeah, time is money. it’s one of those things...you can spend a lot of money and do it yourself and have problems or you can spend a little bit more and have someone do it and if problems come up they are someone else’s to fix. I have had a few friends do it and think they prepped it 110% only to have it flake or not adhere to spots due to oil etc. From the homework I have done it’s not cheap either route if you want it done right

totally doable, however you need to go every extra mile. prep prep prep. company took 3 days + 1 day recoat. crew was here about an hour or so each time. cure time is 48hrs before putting hot tires on it. 24hrs before walking on it. they were nominally priced, I'd suggest finding one that attends trade conventions or is a member of a flooring association. licensed and bonded for sure. if they mess up, it's a bear to remove... actually you don't, just grind the bad and go over the top again. moving out of the garage/shuffle was the biggest pain honestly besides the waiting.

For those of you that use the southbay expressway (125) i found out that if you have the transponder and dont use the tollroad every month they charge you $5...
Didnt realize it and its been about 2 years. With very limited use. :goingcrazy::frusty:
    Going to cancel it now.

I had used the toll lane in OC a while back and just got a transponder in the mail from them with no fees associated. I'd check and see if you can get one of those as it works on 125 as well

I would call them. I have missed paying tolls and they have reduced the fine to the original toll. They are very willing to make things work.

Okay, seriously reaching here, but you never know.

Does anyone have a VHS-C and/or Betamax player(s) I could borrow for a while. If you have one, reach out to me via PM and I'll explain the details.

It does. I live in the I.E., but the fiance lives in Vista. We head down that way about once a month. My 91 Fastrack transponder does work on those toll lanes no problem.

Hey folks how about we leave the Yard Sale thread for selling and buying and use the BS thread for BS?

Thank you for your continued cooperation.

Well fellas, I finally moved the family to NW Washington. Thanks for the good times down here in SoCal. I will definitely miss the desert and good Mexican food. If you find yourself around my area, hit me up. Cheers!
