He is probably the least capable person on this forum of taking care of himself, let alone anyone else...

Hey Shane, do you ever come across any triple bypass 12" stroke 2.5s? Looking for a set of 4, or even go 14" stroke if I can find them.
I'm starting to tear my off-road rig apart so I can finally work on my own stuff when I have time and chip away at it.
I'm trying to get it set up so I can go play on the dirt again!! Thanks dude!

I see them from time to time. I am always browsing the used market. I’ll keep an eye out. Do you have a brand or layout preference?

Not really too picky, Im going to be making all new mounts so I can make just about anything fit with enough work. They are going on my 97 Jeep TJ, pretty much all custom mounts anyway since it currently has 2.0 Fox 12" stroke remote resi, and 2.0 hydro bumps.
Im thinking I can get away with keeping the current coilovers for now although a 2.5 would be much better suited for it, figured I would add the bypasses and see if that is going to be enough. Im sure Ill eventually change the coilovers to 2.5s at some point down the road so if you come across those I may be interested.
I might have to start doing midget porn to afford the upgrades
Hope all has been well with you and your girl my friend!

Likely wouldn’t have have to go with a 2.5” C/O if you run a bypass. The bypass will provide the dampening you need. I’ll keep an eye out

Agreed, the 2.0s are actually working well and I drove it pretty hard until the rear end failed, the previous owner didn't loctite the ring gear bolts and they slowly backed out! So you can imagine the carnage, lol. With bypasses it would be a nice setup. I am getting a DIY kit to make all my own links and build the mounts so they are super low pro and won't hang up on anything and have an 8.8 rear to swap in once I get some parts gathered up.
Sweet bud I appreciate that, Im going to be checking race desert and pirate ,race junk, etc....so the more eyeballs looking the better! I appreciate that. Haven't had my rig working pretty much since I moved 2.5 years ago! Too long not to be able to go out and play with everyone!!

Anybody want to come Swimming? Might be a little cold...:) Yeah as I've said before being the very last hill at the bottom of the ENTIRE valley it gets pretty crazy here when we get a lot of rain in a short time.
Now Im going to have to dig those tubes out and build a bridge, I was hoping they would do the trick but they dont quite fit the bill. I could add more tubes but they just tend to get clogged from debris coming down the rapids...but once I build a bridge I should be good to go!

Might have to make a TW party and ask for some help from my TW family since I dont have any living relatives, lol. WOuld be a good excuse to see you all again!! Hope you guys and gals have an awesome weekend! :headbang:

Hi all - I have sliders with some rust from my 2nd gen that I need cleaned up and re-powder coated. Does any one have a recommendation on where to go local in San Diego that won’t cost me a ton?
