BRRRRRR! Sheesh it sure gets fawking COLD in the mornings! Well for me anyway....yeah I know its not exactly Montana but still cold for a weatherwuss like myself, haha!
Been trying to work on my truck in the evenings trying to get the turbo setup done (getting close!!) But it gets so darn cold in the evenings and without a real roof on my shop area my hands start to get dang cold and trying to weld is quite difficult when my material is hovering at about 48 degrees, lol.

Anybody know of a place that has large sheets of galvanized corrugated metal sheeting? I need to frame out my shop area and get roof going. I'm an idiot and waited till winter to start before I actually do it, good thing I don't procrastinate!! Haha..
Looking to get some good material for the actual roof itself as well as some steel for the frame to attach it to. What makes it a bit more difficult is that I have about 21" from one side to another that I need to frame in so I will probably need 25-28' lengths of steel for the expanse between the containers. I was thinking about using laminated beams but they are so darn tall and overkill for the roof weight I'd rather use square tube steel or I-beams if I can find any.
I wish I could find some place thats doing demo where I could get some materials at a lower cost as we all know material is insanely expensive these days, as a matter of fact EVERYTHING costs more now than it did a year ago and likely gonna get much worse if Im reading the sit-rep correctly!!

This storm is brutal! Pretty sure Im gonna have another giant palm tree fall over, I lost one last week and it was about 40' tall and took out part of my fence....but at least the culverts are keeping up with the fawking river I have flowing though the yard, make that 2 rivers, I split it into 2 so I had enough flow. Already had to unblock them because all the debris that has stacked up over the summer almost blocked both of them.
Its a bit of a bummer being at the end of the valley where ALL the water flows through my property. I guess I had better install that other culvert tube I got sooner than later so I can make sure I dont float away, haha..

I'm sure you can put it off for a while. Not like this kind of weather sticks around. It better not, otherwise why am I paying such high taxes...

Anybody have an extra headlight panel thing they want to sell me? Just noticed today that I’m missing the one on the driver side.

No kidding..the problem with that is my procrastination is precisely why I havent gotten ready for the rain yet, maybe if I start now Ill have it done in time for the next storm. Im gonna see if I can figure out how to rig up my giant clear waterproof canopy over my sail shades I have now so they are at least water proof over the middle section. I just need to make sure it doesnt turn into a 1000 gallon kiddie pool above my head, lol.

Ill check my junkyard but I dont think I have any of those little filler panels.

Here is a cool video about Desert racing in motorcycles in D37 where we go and risk it for no real good reason other than the competition and bragging rights, while trying not to kill ourselves, haha!

Wow a blast from the past. Borrowed a bike from a buddy after not riding for 10+ years and completed this (1 loop only). Completely kicked my ass and I
was probably last, but finishing was an accomplishment for me.
