Oh yes Trail Mater, nice folks, if I remember correctly driving to fast at night on a narrow trail and looking at a GPS.

 

kinda, more progressive g-out/bottom out control, of course it all depends on the vehicles specs and shocks valving.

Looking for detail shop recommendations for North County. I got a bunch of pinstripes my last time out and would like to get them gone (as much as possible anyway).

 

well... yes and no.. prices are returning to normal, the stupid inflated covid-era vehicle prices are over with.

 

How the heck did he do that? Making a u-turn?

 

I called him on the phone and 14k still gets you the whole dirt king/king mid travel kit and bumpers. 20k will get you the bed rack camping setup.

I live in Scripps Ranch, 38 years. There used to be a time when Pomerado Road did not run all the way down the hill towards Poway. I do 80% of my business in Poway. I keep missing the Poway Rodeo! Got to go one year.

Thats where I lived growing up, top of Riesling where Spring Canyon stopped before it head downhill into poway. Edit: also where my profile pic was taken.

 

Knew a kid driving a full sized Forest Service truck down a steep single lane dirt road on a roadcut with a cliff to one side. He tried to do a u-turn, and one of his rear tires went over the edge and he couldn’t go forward, so he left the truck without putting it in Park nor putting on the parking brake and walked down the road to where his crew was waiting for a pick up.

Some people just shouldn’t drive off road…
