    Winter blend still?
I just drove 180 miles to Palm Desert and back this weekend and I got an incredible 18.2 mpg (or 18.9 adjusted for my tires).

I have not gotten that good of mileage since my days of Baja driving on ethanol-free Pemex gas, or long flat Arizona driving (when I got up to 21 mpg). I have a 2010 Double Cab 4x4 with a 4.0 V6 & automatic. 16 +/- mpg is my "normal" mileage.

I suppose I am surprised because most of my driving has been just short trips with a combo of city and highway... with 16.5 (17.1) mpg winter and 15.5 (16.1) summer (adjusted). Adjusted figures are when I add the 4% odometer correction for my 265/75-16 tires.

That is insane price for aftermarket LCA. Maybe look into dirtking or LSK if you decided to go aftermarket in the future.

Dirt King would require their UCA and hoop for my S2s. Already talked to them and they are 30 minutes from my house. I did not think about LSK for mid travel

Anyone seen any good desert wildflower areas in Anza Borrego/Borrego Springs? The hotline states Coyote Canyon, Henderson Canyon Rd, and S22. Those are all close together. Any good spots in AB down S2?

Those many runs we did with the old gang here were great fun.
I sure do miss Matt "RecklessTaco" here... who organized so many runs before he moved to Northern Nevada.

LS1-T56 swap, Z06 ported heads, cam, Titanium valves, Kevlar clutch. Now building a forged stroker (383) and all the ponies! Old setup was rod-knockin on heaven's door...
Finally got my LS short block completed, had to check Piston to Valve clearance so I could order the correct thickness head gaskets to keep the compression as high as possible for more power.
Getting closer to having my truck back on the road again so it's going to be such a sleeper, can't wait to find a "fast" car out there to play with.

Still doing research on the AWD conversion so I can actually get real traction to put the power down.

Hope everyone is doing good out there in this crazy world!
