So we are pretty close to a rebuild that can be purchased over the counter with a 2 year warranty?

 

Well when he's done building the leafs for the next couple guys. He will have enough to buy a brand new one from Autozone with a 2 year warranty for $2200 through another member who works there. That's brand new

 

I'm guessing for that price it's an auto?

 

Any one have an idea what a leaky steering rack will take to fix?

 

where is it leaking from?

 

Haven't looked, when I got it aligned today they sai it was leaking

 

might just have a loose fitting..... worst case is it being cracked

 

I just looked and I don't see any leak... Maybe someone with a better idea what to look at should see?

They are swindlers... They talked a lady into spending $2k on basic stuff that didn't need to be done yet.. Hahah

 

OH SAWEET! new with a warranty...AWESOME!

 

Ya the last time i got an alignment from truline they came up with like 4 different things that were "bad" and the bill was gonna be almost $600. I was like hell no just align my tires! And i havent had any problems with the stuff they said was wrong.

 

My cv boot ripped today tho so that really sucks

I need tires! I think my next set will be some treadwrights though . Chris you have any problems going 80 with those? Ive heard some things about people driving long distances going 80 with no problems and some people do

 

I did 85-90 mph majority of the way from Venice Beach to home (2 hrs) ZERO PROBLEMS...

 

Alright cool. Hopefully the middle of June Ill have enough for spacers, tires, and enough money for a cab chop.
