    I want to go ride my 2 stroke again, fun stuff! I dont think bringing the monster CRF488r is necessary in the tight stuff.

    If you ever get a weekday off (and get a desert tank) we can go to Pine valley, so much good stuff out there, but from where I stage its over 10 miles just to the trails down some wide fire roads

    What do you want to know? Its a decent quad, pretty dependable from what I have seen. Worked on a few. As far as how they ride, I have no idea, I do not ride quads, thats like asking a snowboarder how he likes a certain pair of skis, lol.

    well, right now i have a 03 honda trx 250ex, and i would like to keep the reliability i have with that but have more power. is water cooled vs air cooled rider preference?

    The water cooled motors (in general) will make more power than an air cooled motor of the same displacement, but add the complexity of a water cooling.

    But in reality its not going to make it significantly less reliable than an air cooled machine, all my bikes are liquid cooled and are very reliable, as I ride solo probably more than 75% of the time.

    The 400 will be a nice jump in power, but still fairly mellow so I think you would like it.

    i know to look at the oil, coolant, shock mounts, and frame.
