the only question i got wrong the first time i took the test for my handgun, the safest direction to hold the gun when not shooting is down! (holding it up may blow your head off but at the very least, what goes up must come down.)

You should have seen the Mexican Army in the trucks in Puerto Villarta, the guys sitting in back had their rifles on their laps pointing toward the cars behind them, so much for safety training, or maybe they dont have that..made me nervous when I was in the car behind them....

Oh trust me Connor, there is not another fan clutch/water pump coming off in the manner this one is... lets put it this way... theres several cut-off wheels involved...

I know the fan clutch has to come off, but 99.99.99% of the rest of the worlds vehicles is 4 up to 6 (very rare) small bolts that hold the assembly to stem of water pump shaft, you loosen-rotate the fan again, etc; NO big deal, NO issue, am i right so far ??

GM has decided to re invent the wheel except they made it square... fucking idiots, they threaded the fan clutch assem. to the waterpump shaft with an inch & 1/8th Nut that apparently fuses itself to the shaft after a few years & also requires the biggest spanner wrench known to mankind....its beyond stupid

Thanks guys. He is taking it to a shop on Wed. At least I have an ideal what to look for if he lets me take a peek before any major work is done. (Don't know about the trans fluid - wouldn't that affect all gears?)

All I can tell you is that every other vehicle I've had with an auto had seen little ,if any maint. from me as far as the trans goes & never had a problem. The Toyota's is a great, strong, reliable transmission... IF... you maintain religiously like the manual recommends, apparently they're good but very touchy & reactive to contaminated/burnt fluid (which of course is evidence of damage from high heat) You def. don't want to pull one unless you have no choice, another real pain in the ass...

Dry fire, dry fire, and dry fire.

Do one-on-one for their first shots and make sure they hold the gun firmly but not with a death grip. After their first shot, they are likely to anticipate subsequent shots.

For home defense shooting, it might be a good idea to teach two-to-the-chest, one-to-the-head shots.

Are you covering malfunction procedures? Tap-Rack-Reevaluate.

    How about 'weak' hand shooting?

Over the back shooting - kidding :D .

    Good luck and be safe.
