Haha! Just got back from my high desert weekend! First time mobbing hours in the dez in a LONG time:

How often do you frequent the offroad? The kind of set up you'll want depends on your style of offroading

Sorry, Tyler! The phone could have been dead or charging in the truck I know I was able to get cell service out there so that shouldn't have been the problem! My GPS was definitely taking it's tole on the battery.

The diesel Dodges and older fords (maybe newer ones too) also had a threaded shaft (reverse thread) and I have a special tool just for that purpose that I can wail on with a hammer, lol. I have done probably about 50 of them at least!
BFH and a BF Open end super thick tool and some enthusiasm gets it done, lol.

Nice I've just recently got into it but its a blast where do you ride at

 

i ride on our property (2 acres) and been to glamis once and dumont once and were about to go up to dumont in the next few weekends.

theres also a trail from just off the 8 up to julian

 

Sweet ya we go to north shore a lot and my wives dad has a nice rail so they go to the dunes alot

Where do y'all usually go for the truck runs when you guys get together

 

There's places to ride in beaumont. I ride my wifes bike when I take my kid out. I try to take him out sometimes with just the two of us. I'll go to McCain valley because its about the shortest drive and he doesn't need alot of room. He has a TRX70 and I either ride a BW350 or a 400ex (wife's bikes).

 

Some guys had mentioned a place called the beacon have you ever heard of it by chance

 

My brother, sister, and her BF all ride and live in calimesa. They ride 2-3 times a week. I can ask where they go exactly if interested. I know he has riden off the 60 by that trailer place next to the 10. He does have 3 or spots he does go. Also on facebook I'm friends with a jeep group from 29 palms area. They are local and know all the roads and trails in that area.

 

Selling my siren if anybody wants to buy it. $120.

 

i think they usually do ocotillo wells and a trail up in ramona but i'm not sure as i've never gone on a trail run with them
