A) already have new bolts

B) why bend sheet metal when I can just cut the bolt and put new ones in?

 

Take em back, more work than bending.
You can bend with pliers or apply pressure with something like a broom stick.

Like Jason said, have an impact.

Rent a balljoint splitter for free from vatozone, makes life easier.

 

Plan on it. Going up to my Dads this weekend I think to install since everyone else is busy.

 

A) Cause bending sheetmetal is easier?
B) And because you put the word "just" in front of the job description doesnt make it any easier..


If you do it by bending the sheetmetal you just remove the plastic clips holding the wires to the inner fender and it will clear after prying the sheetmetal about 1/4 inch

 

in reality you should just pay jason to do it for you man.

Well to be honest I don't have alot of cash to pay for install right now. Most of it went towards buying the parts and other things. So my install budget is pretty low at the moment. Now that I have all the parts, really don't want to stare at them for 2-3 months before I pay someone to install. Would rather spend a weekend doing it myself and learning about my truck...or doing it with someone else who knows how to do it and can do it with me...but hey...I get it...people are busy. I'll figure it out.

Getting married at the end of May...most of my $$ has been going towards that...everything I have left is going towards truck parts. Now I have it all, but still have a few things more to pay for...so cash I short, ya know.

 

Meh. Have had plenty of patience the last several months while I gathered parts

 

I am gonna go try and lose the race next year, hehe, just gonna enter Expert 250cc class and see how it pans out but I have no expectations to finish near the top with all the world class guys out there.

I have an old GoPro, but dont want to borrow your camera and smash it into the rocks if/when I go down. Probably better to bring my old one in case I kill it. But thank you sir.
