I'm flying to San Diego tomorrow for business and will be staying around Miramar.

I have a meeting on Thursday in the morning but tomorrow evening & Thursday evening I need to entertain myself and eat.

    Suggestions?

There's down town San Diego for bars and restaurants. Ocean beach, Pacific beach and La Jolla are also good places to walk around in. Is there something more specific your interested in doing?

I went for a drive just to check out the place. today I had lunch at Wich Addiction, they make an excellent sandwich.
I'm really enjoying the city, from the limited viewpoint I have and would like to come back when I have more time.

    • Go to Torrey Pines State Beach Park. 13079 N Torrey Pines Rd, San Diego, CA 92121 Bring your camera and a few dollars to park your rig. Your so close to the ocean.
    • Also go to La Jolla Cove.
    • If you want to see epic, dramatic scenery, drive out on interstate I-8 East. Take Sunrise Highway. Stop at the epic view of the desert.
    • Do not go into Mexico.

This girl I know was afraid to come down to San Diego with a few of us awhile back, she had heard that because it's so close to Mexico that bullets sometimes come over the border and land in the city, lol

Young girls sometimes say stupid things. I heard one once tell me that she was afraid to drive over lit discarded cigarette butts on the street because she thought that her car would blow up. Probably watched too many Hollywood movies.

If you are in mirmar you need to check out some of our breweries like ballast point and others on miramar. You also have new English in Sorrento valley

OH that's right, definitely hit up Stone Brewery in Escondido (just outside of San Diego). That place is incredible. SD itself has a lot of great craft breweries around, too.
