    When I installed Doug Thorley long tube headers on my 2006, I had to disconnect the steering shaft so that the driver side header would line up correctly on the header studs. I would also recommend buying new hardware for the header studs on the block. Its probably $15 worth of nuts and will save you headaches if you ever need to take the headers off again.
