Just a warning for those of you that have build threads. My truck broke down on Monday I figured out it was the torque converter due to the engine code. Since I have a 2013 I know I have a 60k mile warrenty on the power train and the torque converter is covered under that.
However after 4 days of waiting for a toyota tech to come from corporate just to look at it and see a tacomaworld sticker on the truck. Apprently they saw the build thread where I have videos of me drag racing the truck. So they will not be covering the torque converter or any other warrenty. Just letting people know that might not think about this kind of thing happening. Also if you didn't know a torque converter is 928 dollars.

Tell him to shut the fuck up and do his job. It's called Toyota Racing Development, how does what you do for fun void a warranty?

You do realize the stone meet starts at 10 and from escondido I'd say it's about hour and a half to2 hour drive to ocotillio which gives you like the hour before they open to hang out and once they open you'll have to bail almost just a heads up bro I don't mind either way just throwing that out there

There aren't any trails in SD that are local local. Yes there's CC out past Alpine or the flat dirt "truck trails" in Ramona that used to be original traveled roads back in the 1800's, but unless anybody has access to the short course raceway in Elsinore, you are SOL other then going out to the desert to watch others "froading" on flat terrain. If you're having fun, don't get me wrong, enjoy yourself, but you don't need to drive 85 miles to do that kind of shit.
