I planned on using the mic, actually. The cable leading to my truck's antenna comes out the top of the radio, making it awkward to hold on to. It's not that big of a deal, no, but a mic would still be nice.

@TripleThreat Is too cool these days.

I do have a good 200 mile desert loop for anyone interested to partake in for a trail run.

It's getting a little hot out there so it might have to be an early morning or evening thing. Plus I need to modify the route a little and some of it may require 4wd but looking at recent pictures it might be 2wd friendly with a heavy foot after all.

The run starts in the morning and ends at night. It's a long ride that's for sure and it helps a lot more if you have LT front to back and are on the throttle. It's not necessary I can do a slower trip but it will just take longer. I'm sure it will still be fun though.

@battlescars What do you think about May 7th for the run? I have LT front/rear and will keep my little 4cycl pinned.

@Airdog Tom isnt LT but he drives faster than a lot of the LT guys. :burnrubber:

I'm not trying to opt anyone out because you can set your own pace but the most important thing is to have a ham radio. On the twisting winding trails you'll do great without LT, just when we get into the open desert with 10 miles of big whoops it's easier, of course you can pick a different path though.

As far as the date goes I normally just play it by ear with the weather.

And finally I need to go through my truck so it's down and out for a good couple months but I can usually get my friends to go.
