I leave for Guam in about a week, but I'll head anywhere a 2WD Nissan Frontier rental truck on street tires can go. It even rained out in the mountains some today:

Someone else needs to post up some trail pictures and videos. All I have left is some stuff from Big Bear and Panamint/Death Valley to process. Of course, you all could always check out my YouTube channel and blog for lots of great photos and videos. C'mon, let's see if I can reach a grand total of 15 YouTube subscribers!

One trail was Painted Gorge Road northeast of Ocotillo (NOT Ocotillo Wells), McCain Valley Road, and a Forest Road that heads north from the Buckman Springs I-8 Buckman Springs exit (Google Maps calls it Sheephead Mountain Road). I really wish that this rental truck had some real tires.

This Frontier is actually a pretty good truck. These tires just don't clear mud though.

Hit me up when you guys get here. We've had a few off island members roll thru. The Tacoma scene is huge here. There's a huge meet on August 26th.

We also have a Guam thread.

Well, it's been fun but tonight is my last night in San Diego. I'll have a few more videos of Panamint/Death Valley to post but that's about all. I had plenty of fun while I was out here but it's time to go. Hopefully some of you will start taking your Taco trucks off-road more often. I really don't understand what happened to this thread or why the number of meets dried up. Oh well, here are some pictures from Zzyzx:
