You're welcome, perhaps a few others would like to lead a group soon? My weekends are about to become Monday and Tuesday so I probably won't be leading too many runs for a while.

Does anyone have any planned trips coming up? I’m not very good at leading groups quite yet.

Feb. 29 Leap Day. A pretty big run with sizable group being planned. There's a dedicated thread in this forum.

That Leap Day Run is my first "lead" but I kinda have a feeling I'll be deferring to @Norsemanvike for help :D

    He's already on the list!

Check out the map on the first page for the trails. Compared to what most people on this forum run, it's pretty tame. There are a few 2wd (myself included) in the group so it can't be anything too crazy. Mostly fire service/forest service roads. Grapevine Canyon is probably the most "technical" but not like climbing obstacles or anything. If it rains at all a few days prior it'll make things iffy. Should just be a nice day trip with great views along the way and ending at Borrego Springs for a tour of the metal sculptures

Not many off shoots on the first half, but closer to Borrego there's a couple more. Old Culp and Jasper Trail are options on the return trip. I'm down to do them if there's time; I've been through similar trails before but I'm not going to make it an official part of the trip because I don't know what others are comfortable doing with their trucks.

There's a Bee Canyon run coming up on the 9th at 9am. Meeting at the Denny's in Perris. I think they plan on doing Bee Canyon/San Jacinto Ridge and having lunch up there. Looks like it's geared more towards families (kids will be there) - the event page on FB requests no alcohol. I'm debating on going, I haven't been on that trail yet.

Good times man. I was impressed how my stock suspension held up, I thought I'd bust something at some point

I would say no... but then again for me, nothing under 7% or 40% counts :notsure: Not gonna try to f*ck up their day though. If I go, I'll follow the rules

I'm kidding...I personally wouldn't bring alcohol to a day run. Unless of course it's after a night of camping and we're caravanning across the desert...:D:D:D

I'm not sure if peeps typically bring alcohol on morning / day on runs though, I probably wouldn't unless it's a VERY limited amount, like a flask or bomber of some good IPA to enjoy, nothing crazy :D:D:D
