Hoping to get up there by 5 on Friday. Does this place allow for shorter, night time runs? And if so, anyone down for this?

There thousands of miles of trail, brotha. This time of year they're nearly all open for runs at night. No matter the time. It's not an OHV park with hours of operation.

There's been lots of weekend (Fri-Sun) freeway work going on on the stretch of the fwy where most of you will be traveling on between San Bernardino and Redlands. We had a gathering at my house (10 miles east of Redlands) last weekend and some guests reported delays of 45+ minutes to go a few miles between Alabama/Orange Street and Yucaipa. Just a heads up and for those looking to bail off the fwy to dodge traffic en route hwy 38 via the 10 fwy in Redlands. If you run into traffic there's plenty of ways to make it to camp using side streets to hwy 38 by initiating "avoid highways" on your google maps or whichever other gps you use. Cheers.

Can anyone recommend a decently cheap portable heater I can scoop up before this weekend? @goblue82

Perfect. I think most may be worn out and DONE after dinner Sat night, so maybe we should plan a night run on Friday for those who can make it up in time.

I'll check out one of them stores on my way home from work today or tomorrow. I'm not a fan of the cold at all, definitely going to want a heater haha

Sure you can't take tomorrow off?

Another reminder for anyone interested in joining a couple of us tomorrow. We will be doing Burns Canyon (which will also be done Saturday morning with the 7am crew). Except we'll also be venturing from the national Forest Burns Canyon down into Yucca Valley/Joshua Tree. Views of giant Joshua Trees and desert landscape along with forest landscape on one run.

If I was smart, I would have done that. Already told him where I'm going and leaving work early to get there.
