This is from 2013. You really can't stop anywhere on the trails out there without aw inspiring scenery... but that's enough about the Tacoma, the mountians aren't so bad either.... You guys are going to have a blast!

It's the rock garden before (or after depending on which way you go) that I can't stand.

Camp Bird mine (which is where my sig pic was taken) over to Telluride is one of my favorites. Hell... they're all my favorite.

I'm just gonna sub for pics. I'll be home again in September and plan to hit a few of these trails with my dad's family so I'll be looking for trail statuses and pictures.

If you're anything like me you will HATE Poughkeepsie gultch. I avoid that trail like the plague. Only trail I refuse to take my truck down / up.

I went down it one time and swore I would never do it again. The rock garden after is annoying as fuck to me.

    Yeah.
Yeah, no desire to destroy my truck. Looking forward to going back someday. I did the loop completely stock with the crappy Rugged Fails and had no issues. Engineer Pass was socked in and damp just as the steep parts at the top started, but 4WL worked just fine.

When I did Engineer Pass last summer, The wife and I nearly got struck by lightening. Felt the static buildup flowing over our clothes and the hair on our bodies start to stand up. That was at the very top about 100' higher than the marker post. We'll be back again and attack Cinnamon Pass. Hopefully with a little less excitement.

We were hoping to however, Blackbear is still closed due to snow, and most likely will not be open... But Imogene is nearly open! Should be ready by next week

I loved them both. Black bear I enjoyed a lot more tho. That whole sketch factor of the switch backs mixed with the rain clouds coming In to make it more dangerous on the slick rock. The view of telluride down below etc. By far oneof my ffavorite trails I have ran

Last time I did black bear, we caught it right at sunset, telluride looked amazing, the whole canyon glowed

Damn, would have been cool to link up even for just a day, looks like your going to hit it just right for all the passes to be open. We may still be fighting snow next week
