    It's legal to drive on the trails and beach, just stay off the dunes, especially the dunes with vegetation. I've never been, but I've talked with people who have.

    ***My plan is to meet at 1030 at the Valero gas station at 16710 Termini San Luis Pass Rd (FM 3005), Galveston, TX. At 1100 we would drive out to our playground. Meeting at 1030 time should get us down I45 with minimal traffic. Should anybody not be able to make the meet time and come out later, pm me for my cell phone so you can contact me when you get out there. Not sure how busy the beach will be. First post is updated with time and location.

    yeah it's legal, but like Bakerla said, DO NOT go on the dunes...plus you'll probably get stuck.

    I've talked one of my buddies with a Tacoma into coming out, (non member stock truck) and another bud with a Frontier (stock). Another guy I'm in the Army with is considering driving down for the meet too. He's been thinking about putting a lift on his truck and I told him to make the trip to check out some of the other lifted trucks.
