his truck is only rear wheel drive, no 4x4. the extra weight of the sandbags makes the rear wheels have better traction offroad so OP doesnt need to have 4x4 to be offroad. its still not as good as having 4x4 but its better then nothing. kinda silly i have to explain this to grown men..

Now you'll have more traction, at the low low cost of decreased turning and braking performance. Perfect.

Ranch cab high, I was lucky to find color matched used,,, after years of searching. https://www.ranchfiberglass.com/truck-caps-and-tonneau-covers/#cabhigh

2/1 spacer lift, but after topper and Decked, I need a new spring pack and shocks, it’s sagging and the shocks aren’t happy w the weight either.

I don't understand the sass, this is a valid approach and makes a big difference. You should have it a bit forward of the rear axle to maximize pressure on the rear without lightening the front. The front isn't a big issue but if you're adding sandbags for traction you don't want to undo some of the good. My '96 Ranger was trash in heavy rain and downright dangerous in snow without sand just forward of the rear axle. 2wd, no power at all, old and hard tires, and hills during the rush hour commute - pucker inducing. Keep it up OP, heck em.

Haha thanks man, they toss and move all around in the bed. They haven’t been that close to the edge since that picture was taken a month ago. I didn’t really pay attention to the sass in the least since it’s like night and day with how it rides! Some sedans look shocked when they see a truck taking corners at 40-50 mph hahaha.

Thanks, it took 3 years,,, but honestly was only looking on and off. I saw a guy on FB selling his truck, and talked him on to separating, he didn’t want to at first, but was glad he did afterwards, as he knew what I gave him was going to be much more than what a buyer would. So we were both happy. If I had to do it again, I would’ve bought new and paid through the nose, that’s how much I like the top and wish I’d had it long ago.

Gotta agree. More traction? Sure. Anywhere close to as capable as 4x4? Come on man…
