I have a question. Originally is the whole rim painted silver or just the circular parts. Is the flat part in the spokes bare alloy? Can someone describe? What part do you paint once stripped?

So you stripped and then polished and waxed yours? no paint or sanding or clearcoat, just polishing then wax? They look amazing. Do you have a photo of that polishing foam tool?

Did you paint these too, or just sand? They look great--

I think he posted at the top of the first page here and said he stripped them using aircraft remover then used a polishing wheel then waxed.

So did mine. Any suggestions? The small alcoves are scoured but still have a bit of Discolouration.. great, but not amazing. Should I hand paint em with Silver metallic paint would you use?

Also would you Wax em or re
    clear? It was a major
pain to get that clear all off. We do have salt in Winter here. I
    like the Wax idea..
