Hey I'm so dumb lol sorry but I have an idea . I'm going to be sanding the chrome off of my bumpers to paint them this weeeknd. Instead of using my hands and 220 gritt paper and busting my ass off why can't I just buy a cheap palm plug in sander. Put some 220 grit paper on it and go to town sanding. I'm thinking it might dig into the chrome more then just using my hands. Sorry if I sound stupid or something. Anyone use the sander and worked better then your hands?

You dont need to strip the chrome off, it will actually help protect against corrosion beneath the paint. Just prep them, use a self etching primer, sealer and then paint. Any kind of dual action sander would work.
