Got my straps and buckles in to make my "fuck you yeti cooler straps"! The straps maybe too thick so I used Hammock tree straps for the first set.



How's this look for winch switches? Out of the way so they don't get bumped is my goal.



This was my original idea but I don't like it. The keys are in the way.


Now to trim the hole behind the bin about 1/16 of an inch lol

Just waiting on my other (in/out) switch on the slow boat from China.

 

Cool dude. I made a small bracket to fit inside that cubby and hold two switches, air compressor and soon ferbafer.

Very nice! Much better than the cheap factory plastic nylon inserts.

 

Gonna go on record and say that the Tinking sound I had has been relieved by replacing the budy bushings. Specifically by replacing the smaller bolts that hold the mounts to the frame. The factory ones had the threads rusted off and allowed the mount to bounce around..

 

hopefly those urethane bushings don't start squeaking, that's maddening
I ment to suggest applying a small amount of silicone grease ( dielectric) when you installed them but got side tracked in a different conversation
Have you noticed any difference in body feel or ride since install ?

 

I wanna say that they have smoothed out the normal road bumps, they don't seem to be as jarring. Wife says so too but may be just suggestive prompting..?

Still gotta put the winch in and finish the wiring for it, but wanted to mount this up and see how It fits! Looks good to me but I have to watch out for extreme sideways pulls, which you shouldn't do anyways.

Good on the CTEK. I use them at home and small commercial applications, no problems.

 

Thanks. After running my battery stone dead at URE last weekend, I figured it needed a good charge. Took a little work to jump it off lol. I Ran it all last night on Recondition mode, which runs a full normal charge and then Recon and back to Maintenance pulse.

 

Looking at a ubolt flip kit. Just checked and my axle tube is 3.16" wide. Guess I'll get 9/16 x 3-1/4 x ## bolts. @Boogyman can you measure the width on the ubolt plate?
